George will next be seen as the female lead opposite Josh Hartnett and Danny Huston in the Sony Pictures’ Film “30 Days of Night.” Bases on the acclaimed graphic novel of the same title. The film, directed by David Slade (“Hard Candy”) and produced by Sam Raimi tells the story of an isolated Alaskan town that is plunged into darkness and attacked by a gang of vampires. George and Harnett play a Sheriff husband and wife team who’s lives are threatened… The film will be released on October 19th, 2007.

George recently finished production on two films, including “The Music Within,” opposite Ron Livingston and Michael Sheen and “WAZ,” with Stellan Skarsgaard and Selma Blair. “The Music Within” which won the audience award at the AFI’s chronicles the true story of Richard Pimentel who changed America’s attitude towards the disabled, a brilliant public speaker with a troubled past who returns from Vietnam severely hearing-impaired and finds a new purpose in life with the company of a man with cerebral palsy (sheen ) and the free loving Christine(George) “The Music Within” is scheduled for a Winter 2007 release. “WAZ,” directed by Tom Shankland, tells the story of a rookie detective (George) and her veteran partner (Skarsgaard) who find themselves entangled in an undesirable case.

Most recently, George was seen starring opposite Josh Duhamel in Fox’s “Turistas,” a thriller about young tourist who becomes marooned in the Brazilian jungle, caught in the organ trade directed by John Stockwell. In 2005, George starred in the MGM hit remake of “The Amityville Horror” opposite Ryan Reynolds. Additional film credits include; “Sugar and Spice,” “Down with Love,” opposite Ewan Mcgregor and Renee Zellweger “New Port South” directed by John Hughes, “Dark City” opposite Kiefer Sutherland,Jennifer Connelly and William hurt . “The Limey” opposite Terrence Stamp directed by steven soderburgh . David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive” with Naomi Watts. And derailed. Opposite clive owen and Jennifer Aniston.

In 2008, George will star in the anticipated HBO original series “In Treatment” with Gabriel Byrne, Diane Weist and Blair Underwood. The series, executive produced by writer-director Rodrigo Garcia (HBO’s “Carnivale” and “Big Love”and films such as “nine lives “and “something you can tell just by looking at her”) and Mark Wahlberg, centers on a therapist (Byrne) who, although is an esteemed psychiatrist to his patient (George), realizes he himself is in need of shrink. “In Treatment” will debut in the winter of 2008.

George started her career as a champion Rollerskater, performing around the world, winning national titles and then going on to place second in the junior world titles and then moved onto television at the age of 16 and was cast in the popular Australian television series “Home and Away” along side Heath Ledger and Guy Pearce in which she was awarded many logie awards and the people’s choice award for best actress and was also nominated for a BAFTA for her portrayal of the leading character, Angel Brooks. In 2003, George had one of the more memorable guest appearance roles in the hit NBC show, “Friends” as the “lesbian nanny.” George also appeared as the evil character, Lauren Reed on ABC’s hit show, “Alias”
